Braddan Commissioners’ Chairman, Andrew Jessopp presented representatives from the Friends of the Hyperbaric Chamber, Rebecca House and the Injured Riders Association with cheques for £473.95.

The money was raised during Braddan Parish Day which was held earlier this year on 23 July at Strang Corner Field. The event was organised by the Commissioners as a family fun day with free children’s entertainment, charity and food stalls.

Andrew Jessopp said “This was the fourth Parish Day we’ve organised and it was a very successful event, the monies were raised from stall fees, a raffle and donation boxes around the field. We’re very grateful to all the businesses that provided sponsorship for the children’s entertainment, the stall holders and everyone who helped make the day such a success”.
