The new Board of Braddan Commissioners – August 2021
There are 5 positions on the Board of Braddan Commissioners and following the elections in July 2021, members will serve for four years. The local elections should have been held in April 2020, however due to the coronavirus pandemic, this term was extended across the island to five years.
At the Annual General Meeting held on 26 May 2022, Andrew Jessopp was voted in as Chairman for another year and Andrew Morgan was elected to the role of Vice Chairman for the first time, replacing John Quaye.
Commissioners’ Meetings are currently held every two weeks at 2pm on a Thursday at the Commissioners’ Office in Union Mills. Members of the Public are welcome to attend and there is time set aside for the Public to ask the Board questions. Agendas are always made available on the Commissioners’ website and Facebook page.
